Botswana Bana Ba Letsatsi

Bana Ba Letsatsi operates a rehabilitation centre in Maun that offers a place of safety for orphans and vulnerable children of school-going age. They provide counselling, education, skills training, daily meals, sports, clothes, transport, medical attention, hygiene facilities and many other services and activities for the children.

Bana Ba Letsatsi is aligned with preschools in Maun such as Shelter Botswana’s preschool who care for orphaned and vulnerable children between the ages of 2 and 6.

The phrase ‘bana ba letsatsi’ means children of the sun or sunshine children, and Bana Ba Letsatsi gives them refuge and the chance to shine.
